2013 UNCLEAR FOR SENNA

The Brazilian driver Bruno Senna has confirmed that he is currently looking at other alternatives than racing just in Formula One. The 29-year-old has suffered a disappointing 2012 season, which has also left him searching for a new drive for the upcoming season.

His team Williams decided to drop him for the upcoming campaign in favour of Valtteri Bottas. Senna has revealed that he is currently holding discussions with several teams, but has said that he is now closer to reaching an agreement. Even though he wants to stay in F1, Senna has admitted that it is not the only destination on his mind.

Caterham and Force India are the only two teams still to confirm the driver line-up for the upcoming season. He has said that he still has no idea how long the discussions will take between the two parties. However, he is just hoping that his future will be sorted as soon as possible. Senna arrived into the sport with a big reputation a few years ago due to his famous surname. However, he has been unable to replicate the success on the track and he has struggled with various issues including reliability problems. With Bruno Senna in the lineup, Williams managed to finish in the eighth position of the constructors table last season.

"2013 is still unclear. We are in the game but it is not easy to know where I'll end up but I imagine it won't be much longer before we see where the pieces fit together and hopefully everything will be okay for this year. We are looking at all options, both inside and outside Formula One," said Bruno Senna. The Brazilian driver has also explore the possibility of joining other sports like the British touring car Championships and rallying. NASCAR also remains an option for the Brazilian.
